The Loden has participated in a variety of local initiatives including Growing Chefs - Chefs for Children’s Urban Agriculture, Hives for Humanity, BC-SPCA, ALS Canada, BC Cancer Society, Movember Canada, Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation and Kids Help Phone.

Hives for Humanity – Milross Garden Party
Amacon, Loden’s parent company and Hives for Humanity launch a community Bee-Keeping Mentorship Program at the Milross Community Garden to raise awareness of the importance of pollinators.

SPCA ‘Celebrity Rescue’
In support of SPCA’s Paws for a Cause, Lilliana De Cotiis was locked in a dog shelter until her family, friends and colleagues met her goal pledge. All donations raised went towards helping homeless and abused animals.

The Loden joins with the Dr. Peter’s AIDS Foundation to host the Kickoff to Pride Cocktail Party in the Halo Penthouse. All funds raised go towards support for those whose lives are impacted by HIV and AIDS.
