Ambassador – Guest Experience Department
The Guest Experience is our priority at the Loden Hotel. The role of the Ambassador creates personalized and authentic experiences for our guests to feel at home in Vancouver.
This is an interactive role that is best suited for the professional who knows Vancouver very well, taking care of our guests from the moment of arrival to the time to say goodbye. Strong communication skills, respectful etiquette and the ability to converse in additional languages will be recognized for higher potential during the application process. With the ability to work independently while multi-tasking responsibilities, this position provides care ranging from luggage assistance, food and beverage services to sharing the secrets of the city.
Success in this role requires strong navigational knowledge, safe driving skills (class 5 license supported by a recent ICBC drivers abstract), in addition to being a steady and attentive cyclist. Wellness routines are an important attribute for the Ambassador and the BeFit style of Loden. A flexible schedule of weekends and evening assignments reflects the needs of the hospitality industry.
Experience Assistant – (Front Office/Guest Experience team)
Welcoming guests as they arrive and assisting them towards their next journey is what the Experience Assistant takes care of. Strong communication skills, respectful etiquette and the ability to converse in additional languages will be recognized for higher potential during the application process.
The Experience Assistant also shares what it is to “live like a Vancouverite.” This role requires quick intuitive thinking, while on your feet, in addition to being well versed in the use of Property Management Systems. The Experience Assistant requires a strong understanding of hotel services and through discovery, will learn how such services can connect with our guest needs.
Time management and a committed sense of urgency translates into prompt delivery of our services.
Room Experience Specialist – Housekeeping Department
Some say the heart of Loden (where a steady consistently strong pulse emanates from) is our Housekeeping department. The role of the Room Experience Specialist is an important one, always keeping in mind guest care and attention, through seamless and intuitive service. It’s the sense of owning and caring for our rooms and suites that result in an environment that remains consistently fresh while in tune with our signature standards.
All members of the Housekeeping team are knowledgeable in safe work practices, have strong engaging conversational skills and respect privacy.
